Features
Core Features
The TeamTalk Community site provides a set of features to manage TeamTalk servers, users, channels and server operations:
- Server lifecycle: Create and delete TeamTalk servers; start, stop and restart servers.
- User management: Add, edit and delete users; send private messages; move users between channels; kick and ban users.
- Channel management: Add, edit and delete channels; send channel messages to all users in a channel.
- Server settings: Ability to broadcast message, change server name and MOTD (message of the day).
- Monitoring & logs: View server statistics (online user count, runtime) and view or download logs and configuration (XML).
Accessibility
Accessibility is a key priority. The site includes:
- Screen reader support: Full support for screen readers on desktop and mobile.
- Accessible alerts: Alert messages use ARIA roles and are announced to assistive technologies.
- Landmarks & headings: Pages include semantic landmarks and clear heading structure for easy navigation.
- Labels & controls: Form fields, buttons and interactive elements include clear labels and ARIA attributes when needed.
- Keyboard navigation: Skip links, access keys and focus management are implemented for keyboard users.
Implementation Notes
Some features depend on the TeamTalk server capabilities and the availability offered by TeamTalk itself. Certain operations (for example, retrieving detailed statistics or performing server-side actions) require the TeamTalk server to expose the appropriate responses or to be reachable from this service. When a feature depends on TeamTalk availability, the site will report any limitations in the UI.
